PLEASE NOTE LAST MINUTE CHANGE TO SCHEDULE ON WEDNESDAY DUE TO WITHDRAWING PRESENTER The purpose of this TSG is for participants with a particular interest in new developments and trends in primary mathematics education. The organizing team of TSG2 will review, select and organize contributions, some by invitation and some submitted by interested participants, that focus on this area. Working together, we will aim to provide an overview of the current state of the art in the topic and expositions of outstanding recent contributions. [Detailed information on all TSGs is available on the ICME-11 website at http://icme11.org under “program.”] The TSGs will meet for one session a day throughout the conference—a total of two 60-minute sessions and two 90-minute sessions. It is expected that TSG participants stay with this group throughout the four sessions. This is important to note if you are considering submitting a paper for this TSG. Some papers will involve presentations, others will be provided as handouts during the sessions. Others will be available on the website only. There will be some discussion during the sessions, but, unlike Discussion Groups, the emphasis is on sharing innovative practice.
