Discussion will address questions such as:
1. What are the goals of international co-operation?
2. Co-operation can take many forms, be organized in many ways, and be implemented accordingly. What are the advantages and disadvantages of different forms, organizations, and implementations? What topics best fit into which version of co-operation?
3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using regional versus global co-operation?
4. What are concrete examples of international co-operation and what has been learned that can be disseminated to all?
5. What are the barriers to international co-operation and how they can be dealt with?
7. Would international cooperation lead to homogenization? Would that be to the detriment of mathematics education or in its favour for acceptance of the discipline at large?

Building on the learnings on this topic during ICME 10, the group aims at engaging participants in fruitful dialogue about the main issues of international co-operation in mathematics education through:
1. Sharing experiences among participants on co-operating with colleagues from around the world;
2. Identifying benefits and problems arising from such co-operation; and
3. Developing recommendations for strengthening international co-operation in the field.
